Brenton is an experienced public affairs consultant with a strong background in policy, politics and government.

With extensive experience working alongside elected leaders and decision makers at the forefront of public discourse, Brenton can provide effective strategic advice to clients to help them successfully navigate the intersection of politics, policy and media.

Prior to joining SEC Newgate, Brenton worked as a Ministerial Adviser in the Victorian Government and maintains strong relationships with senior officials across the whole of government. Brenton also previously worked in Canberra in a Federal Ministerial office and for a federal government department.

Brenton is passionate about health, human services and education issues and has a strong knowledge of state and federal political matters, Australian foreign policy, trade and international affairs.

Brenton is a graduate of La Trobe University and ANU.
