Claire’s career as a communications and public affairs specialist spans 18 years and includes advisory roles in federal politics, the public and private sector.
Claire provides an in-depth knowledge of the intersection between politics, policy and business and is recognised as an experienced and dedicated adviser to her clients.
Her expertise in government relations and strategic communications sees her support the needs of clients across a range of sectors including agriculture, education, tourism, philanthropy and the public sector.
Clients have included crisis communications for the live export sector, strategic communications to some of the major universities in preparedness and response to COVID-19 impacts, and ongoing strategic counsel to Australia’s largest philanthropic organisation.
Claire also previously worked on major federal government communication briefs, including the Telstra 3 Share Offer and Moorebank Intermodal Terminal project.
Prior to SEC Newgate, Claire worked as an adviser in federal politics in the Treasury portfolio, before moving into the Federal Government to work on the Commonwealth review of the sustainability of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme.
Claire holds a Bachelor of Arts (Politics, Media, and Communications) at the University of New South Wales.
