Ellen is a communications professional with experience working across the tertiary education, government, media, and aviation sectors.

She is a skilled communicator, with expertise in marketing, communications, public relations, digital, journalism, and social media.

Prior to joining SEC Newgate Ellen worked at Qantas Airways, delivering communications campaigns and strategic messaging to corporate, trade and government audiences.

Ellen worked for the Australian Government Department of Health on the COVID-19 Vaccine Taskforce, working to devise and implement the highly successful public health information campaign.

She started her career in the Marketing and Communications team at the Australian National University College of Engineering and Computer Science. She drove content creation, social media, research stories, events promotion and sales collateral.

Ellen holds a Bachelor of Communications, Majoring in Journalism/Creative Writing from the University of Technology Sydney.
