Nick is an experienced communications consultant with an extensive track record in corporate and public affairs across the infrastructure, resources, property and professional services sectors. 

Nick’s expertise covers strategic communications, government relations, stakeholder engagement and issues management for public and private sector projects. He provides strategic counsel to help clients navigate high-profile and complex issues that span across business, media and government.   

Prior to joining SEC Newgate, Nick was the Head of Partnerships at Australia’s leading foreign policy think-tank, the Lowy Institute. Nick has also worked as an adviser to a NSW Government Minister where he developed and executed communications strategies for a number of local government reforms. He started his career as a corporate affairs adviser at a major professional services firm and worked across the internal and external affairs teams. 

Nick holds a Bachelor of Laws and Commerce from the University of New South Wales.
