Cale is a communications and Government relations practitioner with extensive experience in all elements of communications as well as providing strategic policy advice and issues management support.

At SEC Newgate, Cale has worked on a wide array of critical and high-profile communications matters for clients in the resources, Government and not-for-profit sectors, developing communications and campaign strategies, as well as hands-on crisis support.

Prior to joining SEC Newgate, Cale was a senior adviser to the Western Australian Premier, Mark McGowan, for almost a decade in government and opposition. In this role Cale served as principal speechwriter and provided advice on key policy areas including energy, climate change, and other economic areas.

He holds a Bachelor of Economics (International Business Economics) and a Bachelor of Arts (Political Science) from the University of Western Australia.
