Kate is a research professional with particular expertise in quantitative research. Her role encompasses project management, data analysis, fieldwork and reporting for large-scale tracking studies and ad hoc research.
Along with her experience with various quantitative research methodologies, she also conducts in-depth stakeholder interviews, facilitates tables at workshops and assists with online communities and focus groups. Kate has worked across a broad range of sectors including transport, energy and infrastructure clients. Recently, Kate has been instrumental in delivering SEC Newgate’s ‘Community Attitudes to Coronavirus’ – a national weekly community sentiment tracking study, measuring the views of Australians on a broad range of issues relating to the coronavirus pandemic.
Kate joined SEC Newgate from Kantar TNS where she ran several large-scale trackers for brands within the FMCG, Quick Service Restaurants, Alcohol and Financial Services industries.
Kate is a full member of The Research Society and holds a Bachelor of Political, Economic and Social Sciences with a double major in Political Economy and Social Policy from the University of Sydney.
