Yoko is an experienced quantitative and qualitative researcher, having worked in market research in Japan and Australia for over 20 years.
She has broad experience across a range of sectors, in both local and global studies. She has worked for various industries such as FMCG, automotive, healthcare, technology, media and food and beverages, on a large variety of projects including brand tracking, ad testing, product development, concept evaluation and sensory research.
Prior to joining SEC Newgate, Yoko worked at Colmar Brunton/Kantar, and before that, she worked at three market research firms in Japan. Over her professional work life, Yoko has been responsible for overseeing and performing all aspects of marketing research activities with problem solving abilities, and has utilised her broad skills and experience, particularly in data analysis. Yoko is well known by her colleagues and clients for delivering high quality outputs and assuring data integrity with excellent attention to detail.
Yoko holds a Bachelor of Sociology in Mass Communications from Kansai University in Osaka, Japan, A Master of Business in Marketing as well as a Graduate Certificate in Analytics from RMIT university.
