With 10 years’ experience spanning healthcare, banking, government and not-for-profits, Katherine is a trusted strategic communications adviser to business and community leaders.
Katherine has a strong record advising on major crises, most recently in healthcare where she led Ambulance Victoria’s communications response to both COVID-19 and the 2019-20 bushfires. Katherine also ran media and government relations for Australia’s largest health service, Metro North Health, which includes Queensland’s Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
Katherine relocated to Melbourne in 2018 to join NAB during the Banking Royal Commission and advised senior executives for the public hearings into Responsible Lending. She also managed end-to-end communications for major pricing announcements, including home loan rate changes.
Katherine has extensive experience providing counsel to senior politicians, including as an Adviser to a Premier where she developed a deep understanding of the relationship between public policy, communications, and the media. Her political experience covers major events such as the G20 Leaders’ Summit, major policy reforms and an election campaign.
Katherine is a passionate advocate of the not-for-profit and charity sector. She currently serves as a Director on the Board of mental health charity White Cloud Foundation and co-launched Victoria’s first Leukaemia Foundation branch in 2021.
Katherine graduated from Bond University with a Bachelor of Psychology.
