Catherine Waterworth is a seasoned communications expert with a strong focus on developing and implementing integrated communications strategies across stakeholder segments and communications channels.
Through a career spanning corporate, government and not-for-profit, Catherine has experience navigating complex relationships, and enabling clarity and cohesion through communications. Catherine has developed media releases, corporate communications, ministerial communications, Budget Estimates Committee preparations, OOH advertising and mass campaigning. She understands the value of building a strong brand, ensuring consistency and authenticity across organisational activities.
Catherine was most recently the Director of Marketing & Communications at International Justice Mission Australia, leading the implementation of an integrated communications strategy with a focus on growing fundraising through a strong digital ecosystem. She brings a proven record of performance in management and continuous improvement across plethora of campaigns, events and projects.
Working across a mix of local and global organisations, including Fairfax Media, Nine Entertainment, The IRONMAN Group and Destination NSW, Catherine has developed strong cross functional skills, working across user experience mapping, tech integrations, partnerships and strategic planning.
Catherine holds a Bachelor of Management (Events & Leisure) from the University of Technology, Sydney.
