Emily is a communication and corporate affairs professional with nine years’ experience spanning government, tech, tertiary education, not-for profit and agency.

Emily is best known for providing strategic advice and tactical support for her clients, particularly in driving behavioural and attitudinal change communications for government and blue-chip clients. Specialising in strategy development, c-suite communications, end to end campaign management, media relations and management of high profile individuals navigating intense public scrutiny. Emily has a sound understanding of effectively communicating complex policies and is a trusted adviser on sensitive matters.

Prior to joining SEC Newgate, Emily was a Senior Communications Adviser at Beyond Blue, she played an integral role in leading organisational wide strategic communication projects and was adviser to the Chair.

Emily also spent time at the Victorian Department of Premier and Cabinet, delivering large scale Treaty campaigns and major policy announcements. She was key member of the states COVID-19 communications response unit, providing daily crisis updates and management of delicate information.

Emily is passionate about social issues and is committed to driving meaningful change through her work. She has a deep understanding of reputation management and offers unique insights and support to her clients.

Emily graduated from RMIT University with a Bachelor of Communications (Public Relations).
