Emily is a senior public affairs and communications professional with deep experience in stakeholder engagement, government relations, strategy development, issues management and media relations. She has also supported a number of clients through major reform processes.
Emily works with clients across a range of sectors including technology, e-commerce, financial services, health, philanthropy, government, and with industry associations.
Emily previously worked for Australia’s largest and most representative business association, the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. During her time at ACCI, Emily worked to enhance the organisation’s standing and influence as Australia’s leading business voice through strategic engagement with the media, the federal parliament and key stakeholders.
Emily has a deep understanding of the complex policy environment driving Australian business having worked across multiple policy portfolios including industrial relations, vocational education and training, small business, migration, and trade.
Emily also has experience working for a boutique strategic communications consultancy in Canberra, where she worked on a range of international strategic communications projects for multi-national food manufacturers and international organisations including the World Bank.
Emily holds a Bachelor of Political, Economic and Social Sciences (Political Economy and International Relations) and a Master of Strategic Public Relations from the University of Sydney.
