Heather has almost 20 years’ experience conducting market and social research projects in Australia and Europe.
Heather has worked on several large-scale and high-profile SEC Newgate Research projects among stakeholder and community audiences spanning water, infrastructure, transport and legislative reform. These projects include qualitative and quantitative research, message development, perceptions audits, social and issues research.
Starting out her career as a scientist in the water industry and with a background in animal health and specialist healthcare research, Heather enjoys getting to grips with technical topics and making the complex simple, understandable and researchable.
A dualist researcher with a breadth of sector experience, Heather appreciates the roles qualitative and quantitative research play in building comprehensive understanding of issues, behaviours, and motivations, and translating this to actionable outcomes for decision-makers.
Heather holds a Bachelor of Science from Reading University, a Diploma of the Market Research Society (MRS UK), a mini-MBA from the Australian Institute of Management and is a member of The Research Society.
