Simon is a specialist in digital communications strategy and implementation. Applying both creative innovation and data analysis, Simon is experienced in optimising organisations’ digital presence to deliver against their corporate and public affairs objectives.
Simon provides clients with expert guidance on how to best leverage the opportunities digital communications platforms have to offer, using data-driven insights and his knowledge of digital best practice to strengthen clients’ communications approach. Since joining SEC Newgate in 2021, Simon has helped clients overcome a range of challenges: designing and delivering national corporate positioning refreshes and digital advocacy campaigns, providing guidance and support on responding to reputational issues, and conducting extensive digital performance analysis and reporting.
Previously, Simon worked in sports journalism and in FMCG digital marketing, developing skills in digital strategy, content production, community management and reporting. With a well-rounded communications background, he has a good understanding of the range of solutions available on digital platforms.
Simon holds a Bachelor of Communication and Media Studies (Marketing and Advertising) and a Bachelor of Creative Arts (Visual Arts) from the University of Wollongong.
