Sophie is an experienced communications consultant with a focus on corporate and public affairs in the energy, resources, tourism and infrastructure sectors.

Sophie’s expertise includes strategic communications, government relations and stakeholder engagement for government and private sector projects. Many of these projects have been controversial or high profile and have required sophisticated strategies and careful community and stakeholder consultation and risk management.

Sophie has particular experience in the energy and resources sector having worked for clients in mining, electricity generation, distribution, transmission and retail and for energy peak bodies.

Recent clients include Laing O’Rourke, Westpac, the Port Authority of NSW, EQ, Endeavour Energy, TransGrid, Energy Networks Australia, SA Power Networks, Whitehaven Coal, Malabar Coal and the NSW Treasury on the long-term lease of 49% of the state’s electricity transmission and distribution assets.

Sophie holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters in International Studies from the University of Sydney.
