Melissa has more than 25 years’ experience working in media and communications, specialising in agribusiness.  
 
Melissa started her career as a journalist with Fairfax Media, working for 20 years across rural NSW, Queensland and the Northern Territory, writing for print and digital media platforms and later becoming an online editor. 
 
She specialises in distilling complex information into content that resonates with target audiences and achieves results for clients. Melissa is highly skilled at producing annual reports and flagship publications. 
Prior to joining SEC Newgate, Melissa’s clients included NAB, Meat & Livestock Australia, FutureFeed and Incitec Pivot Fertilisers.  
 
She is based in Central Queensland and provides a lived experience and insight on the issues impacting rural and regional Australia that our clients highly value. 
 
Melissa has a Bachelor of Arts, Communications and History.
