Having this experience in high‑profile state opposition portfolio during an election cycle, as well as in client‑facing and sales roles, enables Henry to bring a unique blend of political acumen and commercial awareness. He offers clients a practical understanding of internal government processes, parliamentary timelines and stakeholder expectations, ensuring his advice is both strategically grounded and outcome‑focused.
Since joining SEC Newgate he has supported clients in a range of sectors including transport, tourism and financial services through government relations, media relations, internal communications and project management and coordination.
A graduate of The University of Melbourne, Henry holds a Bachelor of Arts with majors in Politics and International Studies and Criminology and is currently completing a Master of Public Policy and Management. His academic background in politics, governance and policy shapes the way he approaches his work, bringing strong analytical and research skills and the ability to turn complex information into clear, practical recommendations.
