Amanda is a community engagement specialist, focusing on participation and service development. She has experience providing human-centered co-design participatory practices. This involves stakeholder engagement to shape the way agency programs and services are delivered to consumers to improve participation and satisfaction.
She has led employee engagement projects that focused on embedding and supporting staff, interfacing with team members and senior management.
She is experienced in community engagement working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, consumers and service providers. Amanda’s capabilities include working with vulnerable people – encompassing mental health, disadvantage, people with trauma and their carers. She uses informed and best practice engagement to work safely and effectively.
Prior to employment in the mental health sector, Amanda worked in a consumer advisory role with Australian Community Support Organisation, where she elevated the voice of consumers and their lived experiences to orchestrate for change.
